Our Process with

CABINETRY

At Olde World, we’re excited to take you through our cabinet design and installation process. Here’s a basic nine step overview:
1. Meet & Greet with Your Cabinet Designer

For your convenience, we tailor our initial meeting based on your project type:

No-Plan-Yet Remodel: We visit your space, take measurements, and get a sense of your needs.

Remodel with Contractor: We discuss design ideas, changes, and start the selection process.

New Construction: We review your plans from the builder/designer and discuss design ideas and changes. Alternatively, we can provide bids based on construction documents or preliminary plans if it’s early in the process.

2. Designing and Pricing

Our experienced CAD team creates detailed drawings based on the initial meeting, while your Cabinet Designer calculates pricing based on design and selections.

We also integrate your appliance and plumbing selections into the design.

3. Review Meeting
We’ll meet with you to discuss the design and pricing. Your feedback is crucial at this stage, and we’ll make any necessary revisions.
4. Revisions
Changes, whether in design, appliance choices, plumbing, or other aspects, may require adjustments in pricing and design.
5. Sign-Off
Once you’re satisfied with the design and pricing, we’ll request your signature on final drawings and the proposal/contract. Minor changes may be addressed separately to avoid delays.
6. Order Placement

To initiate your order, we’ll request a deposit, which must be received before ordering.

Our procurement team writes your initial order and carefully goes over every detail of your design before confirming your order. They may reach out to you during this confirmation window if they need additional information, clarification, or measurements.

If any changes are required after the order sign-off, we’ll seek your approval, and lead times may be adjusted accordingly.

7. Scheduling
We’ll provide approximate lead times and notify you of delivery dates to our warehouse, keeping you informed every step of the way.*
8. Installation
Our trusted subcontractors will perform the initial installation, with ongoing work as far as possible.
If any site delays, unforeseen circumstances, or design changes occur during the installation, a change order could be sent and scheduled completion may be affected.
9. Punch Lists & Final Touches
Together, we’ll create punch lists to ensure that every detail aligns with your vision. Any remaining items will be addressed to ensure a flawless finish.

We’re committed to making your cabinet design and installation experience seamless and enjoyable. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we look forward to bringing your vision to life!

*Lead times vary by manufacturer and selections. They fluctuate based on economic conditions, with weekly updates from manufacturers.
